- Dryad first received metadata records on 2009-12-9.
- URL processing went live on 2010-1-19.
- Some authors received Dryad links starting 2010-2-24. (Submissions are currently being tested with a few individual authors.)
- The journal received regular reports of submissions to Dryad starting 2010-1-29.
